Do you know what is Purworejo Ambassador? Purworejo Ambassador or better known as the Bagus and Roro Purworejo are teenagers who have a responsibility to introduce the culture and tourism Purworejo to various groups.

Purworejo Ambassador 2012 selected by the selection, the selection was held in the Office of Tourism Purworejo. There are so many who signed up from around the Senior High School in Purworejo, even students who enroll. The first stage of selection is written test, it amounted to about 50 multiple choice questions, 30 questions using the English language and 20 questions using Indonesian. Problem contains general knowledge and culture of Purworejo. Then there is the psychological tests, which we were given about the number of about 10 essays, questions such as the principle of life, the motivation of our lives, and others. The next stage is the interview, this is the most exciting stage as we were interviewed by three judges. We interviewed with English and Indonesian, the question about our knowledge of the culture, what we know about the Purworejo ambassador, what talent we have and the principle of our life.

Afterwards, participants were taken to the top 20, which is 10 girls and 10 boys, here we follow the quarantine for four days at the plaza hotel Purworejo. We were given a number of participants based on the order of height, from there we got a couple in quarantine as Purworejo ambassador pairs of boy and girl or called Bagus-Roro.


In quarantine we were given a very useful material for us, about leadership, culture, into public speaking, personality, catwalk, and the most trivial is how to be a good tourist ambassador.

We were also given the task group, that we talk about Purworejo tourism what we know and what we act to improve the quality of the tour. And we also have a survey to rural tourism in Purworejo, we together look natural charm purworejo like Muncar waterfall and tasting local food made of local communities.

Until the time determination "Bagus Roro Purworejo Grand Final 2012" held at Gedung Wanita. It is the determination of who will be the next Ambassador Purworejo 2012. We did a catwalk in front of the judje, and watched by Purworejo regent, Miss Indonesia, our principal, our parents, and even our friends. From each end there were our friends call our name loudly, a little eliminate nerveous on stage.

After the catwalk, we performed a pair that we introduce Purworejo culture using 3 languages, Java, Indonesian, and English. From here selected the top 10 and we were given a direct question from the judje, and we immediately say. Until the determination night came, the announcement of who is the next Purworejo Ambassador 2012. There are a few categories here, Bagus Roro Purworejo 2012, Deputy I, II, III, IV, Ambassador of Friendship, Ambassador of intelligence and Ambassador of Personality. It was delighted when mc says, "The next Roro Personality 2012, lottery number 23 is Annisa Fajri" wooow, this is the most beautifull moment in my life, and carries the name of SMA N 5 I as Roro Personality 2012. And we who have chosen to be ambassador 2012, we often hold social events to the orphanage, following a plenary session in the DPRD and many more.
